A fragrant, beautifully pitched, mid-weighted confluence of two varieties that let the purple florals sing. Lilac, peony and violet. Boysenberry and other purple to blue fruits, caressed by a plush veneer of gently extracted tannins and a clench of reductive tension. Dangerously easy to drink, somehow reminiscent of a very good cru Beaujolais. JS
