The 2019 Reserva was produced with a blend of 80% Tempranillo and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, a selection of plots, mostly from the zone of El Picon below the winery and the Cabernet from the gravel and sandy soils. The idea for the future is to vinify only one wine from the property and sell it with different elevage (like it was in the 90s!). 2019 was a very warm year with high ripeness. A rounder and more voluptuous year offset by the more calcareous soils, it's riper but has a serious and somewhat austere (call it mineral) palate. 40,000 bottles produced. RP
