An intense, rich pinot that still has identity, even though there is much more black than red berry fruit. There is a mossy, undergrowth character which will get more mushroomy with age. Juicy and full-bodied on the palate with a broad, slightly sweet-sour berry character to the mid-palate. Structured, but really polished and long. JS
