Montes was founded in 1988 by Aurelio Montes Sr. along with three other partners, with the philosophy of producing “first growth” wines from Chile. Upon the creation of the Montes Alpha Cabernet Sauvignon, the first “premium” wine to be exported from Chile, Montes is considered as the iconic expression of quality wines from Chile, proving the wines of the country are on a par with other best example around the world.

On 24 Jun (Fri), Mr. Santiago Auzcue, winemaker of Montes, will join us online to share the adventure behind Alpha M, one of the most iconic and awarded Chilean wines from Colchagua Valley produced only in the best vintages. To celebrate the new-vintage release, we will be tasting 6 vintages of Alpha M vertically and explore the evolution of this iconic Chilean Cabernet blend.
