Vergelegen Reserve Chardonnay 2022
Beginning softly subdued in the glass, swirling of the 2022 Chardonnay Reserve released aromas of lemon skin and dusty apple blossoms. Medium-bodied, the palate is expressive and shows the cooler site of wind-swept vineyards with energetic acidity on the palate. While some may want a touch more oak, this Chardonnay offers a sense of place with a refined finish that has me returning from more. RP
