Pagodes de Cos St Estephe 2nd Wine 2013

The 2013 Les Pagodes de Cos has a straightforward bouquet, herbaceous blackberry and tertiary scents with appreciable lift from the glass. The palate is nicely balanced with supple tannin, the acidity well judged and while it clearly lacks complexity and length, I find this has more to offer than the 2013 Goulée thanks to the detail on the finish. Drink this over the next 4-5 years. RP
