Here the Yarra Valley provides 70%, Tasmania 30%, both wild-fermented, the Yarra component with 35% whole bunches, Tasmania with 25% whole bunch inclusion in the ferment. It has glorious colour, and a profusion of strawberry and blueberry fruit sustained by tannins so supple they provide a silky conclusion. JH
Vivid, crystal clear crimson; the exotic bouquet has a perfumed display of intense red cherry and red fruit aromas, the palate with great texture, setting red fruits against forest fruits and forest floor; immaculate length and balance. JH

Hardy's Eileen Hardy Pinot Noir 2014

Dark red in colour with intense hues. Very powerful, complex aromas of blueberry fruit, cherries and spice complemented by hints of oak. A blend of two regions and vineyards in Tasmania. The Derwent Valley produces deeply coloured Pinot Noir of rich intensity, brooding dark voluptuous styles that display dark cherry, strawberry fruit characters, mineral acidity, firm tannin structure and commensurate length of palate. Whilst fruit from the Cranbrook area is more blueberry, steely, yet perfumed, tannins can be gruff, but with superb length.
