Denton Yarra Valley Nebbiolo 2019

A bright, medium, ruby red. There's lots going on here. Aromas of dark cherries, cherry and sandalwood, dried roses, orange peel and botanicals such as quinine and juniper. The palate is ripe and beautifully brought back into focus by the wine's refreshing acidity and grippy yet fine tannins. Finishes ferrous and long. JH

Denton Yarra Valley Pinot Noir 2021

A medium, bright garnet. Expressive on the nose with its bouquet of wild strawberries and a little blood orange together with florals and some secondary forest floor scents. The medium-bodied palate is both silky smooth and structured, relying as much on the wine's bright acidity for its backbone as it does on the fine, gently grippy tannins. JH
