Larger vessels, long extraction and gentle agitation. A beautiful wine crafted with an assiduous sense of detail and freshness – the best approach to this too often mishandled variety. A stellar vintage that lets this ethereal style run, threading a pinot-like scent of candied red fruits, dried thyme and lavender through the eye of a needle, so precise and granular/sandy are the tannins, so thirst-quenching the freshness, so optimal the ripeness.
