Pinot Noir with a seductively perfumed bouquet of red and dark cherries, plums, and subtle spicy clove notes on the nose. It is enhanced by an elegant and refined concentrated palate displaying richness and generosity. The complex palate is layered and balanced, complemented by fine silky tannins, all hallmark traits of minimalist winemaking.

Casa Marin Lo Abarca Hills Pinot Noir 2011 (Clearance sale item – other promotion offers and W Rewards are not applicable)
Always sold a few years after the harvest, the 2011 Pinot Noir Lo Abarca Hills Vineyard has been in bottle since May 2015. It started fermenting in stainless steel with indigenous yeast and finished in French oak barrels, 20% of them new, where it was kept for 12 months. It's reminiscent of a very good Burgundy, with a nice combination of young, fruit-driven aromas, spice and complexity and a bouquet developed in bottle. The nose is phenomenal—focused, clean, pure, delineated and very balanced. Truly impressive! RP
