2019 Syrah la Serenne begins with a gorgeous nose that boasts aromas of black raspberry compote, spiced plums and cinnamon-sprinkled cherries before dusty roses and lavender flutter from the glass. Medium to full-bodied, the palate displays an elegant array of complexity with enticing flavors of dried herbs, sweet black fruits and a subtle spice tone that gives way to buttressing tannins across the mid-palate.
