English sparkling wine is getting an unprecedented achievement in recent years with numerous acclaims and awards around the world. Gusbourne is one of the top players in the category, which farms 90 hectares of vineyards in Kent and West Sussex, planted with the famous fizzy trio: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier, on the very similar chalky soils as in Champagne region.

“Fifty One Degrees North” is the prestige sparkling wine of the estate – a singularity like no other expressing a unique place of a moment in time and of modern English winemaking. Sourced from the best fruits planted at 51 degrees latitude, the northern limit of quality winemaking, it is intense and rich, but also incredibly structured with fine, balanced acidity with complexity and ageing potential. The choice of the British Royal Family, Gusbourne celebrated the Coronation of King Charles III, and the Platinum Jubilee of late Queen Elizabeth II.
