    電影香檳

Known as “Wine of Victory”, Champagne is always the first choice for gatherings and celebrations. For example, The Academy Awards, popularly known as the Oscars, always partners with high-quality Champagne brands to celebrate with winners and the whole movie industry! Champagne always plays an important role in the movie, like Leonardo DiCaprio in the movie “The Great Gatsby” giving a toast  with Champagne! Let’s check out more famous Champagne scenes in movies!

    1.“Breakfast at Tiffany’s” (1961) – Breakfast with Champagne

The ever-glamourous actress Audrey Hepburn played a lot of classic roles in movies, especially the 1961 movie “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”! Dressed in a black sheath dress of utmost simplicity, accessorised with a shiny crown and a Tiffany necklace, and holding a long extendable cigarette holder, Audrey in this iconic look has become a legend ever since. There was a romantic scene in the movie that Audrey Hepburn discussed with George Peppard how to design a romantic day. Audrey Hepburn proposed to do things they have never done before such as drinking Champagne before breakfast. Therefore, their date started with a Champagne, which is so lovely!

    2.“Pretty Woman” (1990) – Moët & Chandon Champagne

    2

The all-time classic romantic comedy “Pretty Woman”, starring Oscar-winning American actress Julia Roberts and Hollywood’s most bankable leading actor Richard Gere, offers a perky modern Cinderella story for us. There was an unforgettable scene when Julia Roberts drank Moët & Chandon Champagne, and Richard Gere advised her to try with a strawberry with it since this could bring out the flavour of the Champagne. This would be a good idea for you to enjoy the film again with Champagne and strawberries!

    3.《The Great Gatsby》 (2013) - Moët & Chandon Champagne

2013 movie “The Great Gatsby” was definitely a fabulous marketing coup for Moët & Chandon! “The Great Gatsby” is a romantic drama film based on F. Scott Fitzgerald’s 1925 novel of the same name, which described the extremes of the 1920s American wealth and decadence. The main character Gatsby earned his money by bootlegging alcohol, and that’s why a lot of extravagant, Champagne-fuelled party scenes could be seen in the movie. As the sponsor of the Great Gatsby, Moet & Chandon Champagne was everywhere in the movies. Just like the author of The Great Gatsby said, “Too much of anything is bad, but too much Champagne is just right.” After all, who can resist Champagne?
