A rich and complex web of smoke and stone, fragrant black cherry brilliance and savory mountain herbs; a delicate bitterness settles like a cool morning fog over the whole, lending structure, shape and an elegant expression.
This is very young and undeveloped, very primary, a bit shy, and it takes time to take off in the glass to reveal notes of violets and strawberry leaf, elegant and nuanced. The palate is very balanced and elegant—it's a very pretty wine. This is very young and needs air and time in the glass if you open a bottle any time soon. It's a superb vintage for Les Manyes. RP

Light ruby hue with a salmon tinge. Very fine-Burgundy like. A great nose, with so many tangy and wildly complex expressions of dried herbs, white pepper, grapefruit, lavender, stones, cement and cranberries. The palate is silky and peppery, with medium acidity and a hint of bitterness that is hard to turn around. Also somewhat sweet dried-cranberry character, followed by a slightly warming finish. A little disappointing on the palate, considering this is one of the top cru offerings from Terroir al Limit. I’d love to find more vibrancy here. JS
