This offers some very attractive, earthy tones and verges into fresh black truffle, as well as cabernet’s leaf and bracken, with a core of ripe red-plum and berry aromas and flavors. The palate has good depth, in a more medium-weight frame. The softly resolved tannins are really approachable here. JS
