Richer, denser and and less accessible than the entry-level Destinae with dark fruits, liquorice, Christmas cake and nutty oak flavours. A big, powerful and generously proportioned red with obvious cellaring potential. BC

Destiny Bay Mystae 2020
Concentrated red with slightly prominent oak at this stage although it did integrate after a little aeration. Dried fruits and spices together with cedar, cassis, nutty oak and some appealing savoury characters. Well-structured—clearly a wine for the cellar, with great potential. BC
