About The Wine
The nose shows strong mineral limestone influence, with more citrus aromas than floral. It feels almost severe, but the kind of severity that is good for a Gewurztraminer, often described as being ‘too much’ on the nose. With time, it develops delicate fruity aromas. Clearly, decanting this wine in carafe will help a lot in the next few years. The palate shows a nice medium richness. The residual sweetness is barely palatable and extremely well balanced by a surprisingly refreshing sensation of acidity. The wine persists in a very harmonious fashion. This is a great introduction to vineyard driven Gewurztraminer!
