About Professional Wine Ratings
A wine score is the quickest, simplest way for a wine critic to communicate their opinion about the quality of a wine. Professional wine rating scores from a wide range of critics, for example Robert Parker's Wine Advocate and Wine Spectator, are usually adjusted for the 100-point scale. A mean of these scores is presented for specific vintages of a wine, as well as across all vintages.

About The Wine
In a certain sense this is a prosaic wine, hewn of vines a mere eight-years-old, planted on sand. While Australia boasts the oldest grenache on the planet, it is a new beast in these cooler parts. Yet the sapidity of the raspberry fruit, doused in white pepper and clove, is compelling. The drinkability quotient, sky high. The tannins, as is the wont here, a swathe of tension from attack to the long, lifted finish. The orb is mid-weighted and savory, over salacious and sweet. A wonderful drink to enjoy with youthful zeal on its side. JS
A good marriage of food and wine ideally provides more pleasure than enjoying either one separately. As each of us have different sensitivities to various flavours and preferences, the definition of 'perfect pairing' varies, and this makes up the fun part of food and wine pairing.
The natural ferments, large format old oak and zero movements of the wine up to bottling has preserved every ounce of flavour, aroma and complexity possible. It is a riot of pretty bright red fruits, spices and crushed herbs, and will delight right from release.
