    About Professional Wine Ratings
A wine score is the quickest, simplest way for a wine critic to communicate their opinion about the quality of a wine. Professional wine rating scores from a wide range of critics, for example Robert Parker's Wine Advocate and Wine Spectator, are usually adjusted for the 100-point scale. A mean of these scores is presented for specific vintages of a wine, as well as across all vintages.

    About The Wine
A dark, grippy, structured version, with a strong charcoal spine running through the core of dark fig, steeped plum and black currant fruit. Loam and bittersweet cocoa notes check in on the finish, endowed with ample buried acidity. Should stretch out pleasantly, but this will need a little more time than most other 2011 Pomerols to round into form. WS

    Food Match
A good marriage of food and wine ideally provides more pleasure than enjoying either one separately. As each of us have different sensitivities to various flavours and preferences, the definition of 'perfect pairing' varies, and this makes up the fun part of food and wine pairing.

Deep garnet-purple colored, it comes barreling out of the glass with explosive scents of boysenberries, stewed plums and baked blackberries with hints of lilacs, candied violets, Indian spices and garrigue, plus a touch of black truffles. Full-bodied, rich and powerful in the mouth, this blockbuster coats the palate with layers of black fruit preserves and exotic spices, framed by plush tannins and wonderful energy, finishing long and savory.
