About The Wine
Superb aged riesling, always released to excellent effect following a decade of bottle age. Light-weighted, with an intensity of flavor and precision that belies its balletic gait. Think spiced quince, honeydew, candied citrus, lemon balm and a faint whiff of kerosene. Yet there is nothing untoward here. The acidity is nicely nestled into what feels like an almost plump mid-palate after the effects of ageing. This is a cooler block on this esteemed site, its wine really sitting pretty. JS
