Smoky barrel ferment aromas kick off proceedings. The oak, nicely embedded. Full-bodied and polished, this will age well despite the eminent approachability. Satsuma plum, cinnamon, orange zest and lilac, with some vanillin-cedar oak tannins draped across the pushy finish.
