Deep-tinted red with a bright ruby rim. Dense, but quite expressive and certainly not closed, with dark berry, cherry, cassis, vanilla, coffee/mocha, and spicy oak flavours. Delicious wine that is very accessible now but promises to develop well with bottle age. BC

Destiny Bay Destinae 2015 (Aged Release)

Elegant red with cedar and cassis cabernet characters dominating an array of more subtle fruit, spice and savoury characters. The wine carries its generous 14.5% alcohol with ease, balancing alcohol sweetness with fine, ripe tannins to give a dry, but not austere finish. A very stylish wine indeed. BC
