The wine carries its generous 14.5% alcohol with ease, balancing alcohol sweetness with fine, ripe tannins to give a dry, but not austere finish. A very stylish wine indeed. BC

Deep-tinted red with a bright ruby rim. Dense, but quite expressive and certainly not closed, with dark berry, cherry, cassis, vanilla, coffee/mocha, and spicy oak flavours. Delicious wine that is very accessible now but promises to develop well with bottle age. BC
