Located in the southern tip of New Zealand’s North Island, Wairarapa is home to the first planting of Pinot Noir in the country. Planted in 1986, Gladstone Vineyard is nestled at the eponymous sub-region Gladstone, with unique free-draining soil and semi-maritime microclimatic which is ideal for growing Pinot Noir.

On 12 Aug (Thu), “The Flying Winemaker” Eddie McDougall, a Hong Kong-born award-winning winemaker who is the CEO and Chief Winemaker of Gladstone Vineyard, will join us and share his first-hand winemaking experience, and explain how he expresses the unique terroir of the estate to craft his aromatic, fresh and delicious wines.
