We are pleased to invite you to a sake tasting co-hosted by Mr. Shinichiro Shimizu 清水慎一郎, the owner of sake brand Zaku 作, and Mr. Kenichi Ohashi 大橋健一 MW, who will visit Hong Kong in November.

Located at Mie Prefecture 三重県, Zaku is named after the philosophy that the true value of sake can only be realised by everyone involved, including the brewery, sake shops, restaurants and more importantly the consumers. With a mission to craft aromatic sakes that bring all parties together, Zaku was the first in history to occupy the first and second place in the Junmai Sake category of SAKE COMPETITION, the most authoritative award in Japan.

On this special occasion, Mr. Shimizu will be accompanied by Kenichi Ohashi MW, who is the only person who simultaneously holds the Master of Wine and Master of Sake honours in the world. He is also one of the only thirty Sake Expert Assessors of the National Research Institute of Brewing, one of the highest accolades offered to sake professionals, and the Sake Co-Chairman of International Wine Challenge since 2010.
