An opulent and big red here, but at the same time this is fresh and really well-balanced. Graphite, oyster shells, cocoa powder, dark olives and blackberries. Bold and concentrated on the palate with lots of dense, fine-grained tannins. Very ambitious but really balanced. Big, powerful and hedonistic. JS

A fragrant nose of blackberries, dark plums, melon, dried thyme, undergrowth, sandalwood, baking spices and lavender. Full-bodied with polished tannins. Ample, balanced and velvety with lovely purity of fruit. So much juicy and aromatic dark fruit. Long, spicy finish. JS
