The 2021 Hope Vineyard Pinot Noir is reductive and rubbery on the nose, with brooding dark fruit and oak. The wine in the mouth is steely, metallic and lean, the reduction stripping the finish of flesh and fruit. Hard work. RP
Greenhough's single vineyard wines are only made in the best vintages, and 2019 certainly qualifies. Similar in style to the Stone's Throw Pinot Noir with perhaps more concentration and complexity. A mix of floral, red berry, plum and spice. Good now but should develop well. BC
