The wine carries its generous 14.5% alcohol with ease, balancing alcohol sweetness with fine, ripe tannins to give a dry, but not austere finish. A very stylish wine indeed. BC

Dense, complex wine with an array of dark berry, spice and other subtle floral and savoury characters that are hard to describe but easy to appreciate. Sweet fruit and a gentle, silken texture makes this wine accessible now although it clearly has plenty of cellaring potential. BC

Destiny Bay Destinae 2020
Deep-tinted red with a bright ruby rim. Dense, but quite expressive and certainly not closed, with dark berry, cherry, cassis, vanilla, coffee/mocha, and spicy oak flavours. Delicious wine that is very accessible now but promises to develop well with bottle age. BC
