It opens with a radiant, floral bouquet of pure red fruits, hibiscus and rose petals with an undercurrent of crushed stones. The palate perfectly straddles silky precision with delicious generosity, concluding with a focused yet succulent, lifted, expansive finish. This wine was a live wire in the glass and continuously gained momentum and additional layers of mineral intensity, prompting me to imagine it meriting a higher score after another year or so. This is a benchmark for Chilean Pinot Noir from a winemaker at the top of his game. RP
