This has bright red-fruit aromas with gooseberries and a floral note that brings roses to mind. A touch of cedar, too. The palate is bright and juicy with a lovely backbone of acidity that stands out. Lovely, delineated fruit. This is pure baboso negro from a north-facing vineyard planted about 20 years ago. JS
