What’s surprising is that my lowest-scored wine (although it’s still outstanding) is the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Stags Leap. This wine displays baking spices along with licorice, loamy soil notes, blackcurrants and black cherries in a medium to full-bodied, elegant, ripe, classic Stags Leap style. Drink it over the next 10-12 years. RP
