Seppeltsfield is the only winery in the world to release a 100 year old, single vintage wine each year. Olive-brown, not as dark as DP 64, but every bit as viscous when being poured; raisins, raisins, raisins, Christmas pudding, hints of licorice, the most bitter of chocolate; the palate is absurd - how can it be so complex and electrifying when it first enters the mouth, then chimera-like, transforms itself into a gloriously pure, fine and impossibly long back-palate and finish.
