On the nose, the wine is rich and buttery, with crushed nuts, clotted cream, curry leaf, Jersey caramels and yellow peach. In the mouth, the wine is creamy and plush—totally pillowy and plump. There are hints of custard powder through the finish. The impact of malolactic fermentation is pronounced here, but for those who love that creamy style, this is a triumph. Nice acid through the finish keeps it tight. RP
