Hand picked from 80-year-old Krondorf and 163-year-old Springton vines; foot trodden, hand plunged, matured in large-format oak. The bouquet is fragrant, with exotic spices showing the way, the palate juicy, laden with blue and purple fruits. Such tannins as exist simply add to the flavour. JH
