With a brut dosage (less than 12 grams per liter), the 2016 Pur Avize Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs displays a smoky, refined bouquet with aromas of almonds, lemon oil, vanilla, pear and stone fruits mingled with hints of spring flowers. Comparable in style to the Unisson Grand Cru, it’s medium to full-bodied, broad and fleshy, with a delicate, pinpoint mousse and a long, penetrating finish. RP
