Grapes are sourced from the Uco Valley, Angelica Sur Vineyard. High altitude, intense sunlight, well drained rocky soils. Low yields, very concentrated wines, with incredibly smooth and velvety tannins. From the Southern part of the Uco Valley. The Uco Valley is the Napa of Argentina.
Fresh herbs and oyster shells with blackberries. A fine touch of balsamic, too. Really juicy and poised on the medium- to full-bodied palate. I love the fluidity here with fresh, fine-grained tannins. Fresh and slightly linear in the long but fruit-expressive finish. JS
