Described as “the international grandmaster of Syrah/Shiraz” by Wine Advocate, Chris Ringland is undoubtedly deemed as a star winemaker. Originally born in New Zealand, Chris found his second home in South Australia where he produces the celebrated Dry Grown Barossa Ranges Shiraz, widely considered as one of the best Australian Shiraz alongside Penfolds Grange and Henschke Hill of Grace.

As a “flying winemaker”, Chris also crafts wine across continents and initiated a few ground-breaking wine projects overseas. On 13 May (Thu), he will join us and talk about his signature Shiraz from Australia, as well as his love on Spain with Alto Moncayo, sourced from high-altitude vineyards of old-vine Garnacha, and Locos por el Vino, meaning “crazy for wine”, his most recent adventure to discover the potential of Spanish Shiraz-Garnacha blends. .
