The 2014 Angelina Brut Reserve Blanc de Blanc has a deep lemon appearance with delicate bubbles. On the nose, there is distinct autolysis, as this had some eight years in bottle before disgorgement in 2022. Expect biscuit, brioche and toast intermixed with lemon, red apple and even some stone fruit (peach) and some developing hazelnut and honey. On the palate, the wine is dry and relatively full-bodied, with some lively acidity and a decent core of autolytic flavors with those primary, delicate fruit notes and a touch of development. The dosage is also relatively well integrated. RP
